Deposit checks and reminders

Hey Group!

If you gave me a check in December, it will be deposited probably within a week.  I am mailing them off to Amped's HQ by the end of this week.  (If you made your deposit payment online, I tore up your deposit check!)

I will have FINAL FINAL dates within the next 2 days or so (though they will still be in late July). I dropped Pioneer Valley Travel.  They were/are being very difficult to work with this year.  That's one of the reasons for the delay in the planning progress.  I have been in contact with STA Travel for the flights and expect that they will be better.

If you are still fence-sitting, now is the time to jump off to one side or the other!  Let me know.

ALSO, following the posted payment schedule, the next $150 payment is due at the end of this week.  I strongly recommend making online payments through Amped's website (ampedforeducation.org).  Just click on "Donate Now" and write down that your donation is going towards the July trip!

Happy New Year! Dates finalized (almost)!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a happy and safe new year!

Based on the feedback that I've gotten, we are going to lock in the July travel dates with Pioneer Valley Travel so even though they might be a day or two different from the estimated 7/20-7/29, we can start planning for late July.

Once we get an accurate price estimate, I'm going to need to start collecting money for the flight which could be as much as ~$780.  This is separate from the payment schedule for Amped's $1199 fee which was posted recently.

I really appreciate all of the emails with questions that I've gotten over the break!  If anyone's plans have changed, please let me know!
